Celebrate Memorial Day weekend at beautiful Niobrara State Park!

Activities

All activities will take place a the Buffalo Cookout Pavilion except the Dutch Oven Breakfast, which will be at the main campground.

Saturday, May 23

10 a.m.: Owl Pellet Dissections – Kids ages 7 and up are invited to learn about owl digestion and dissect a real owl pellet! Younger kids can color an owl page. This activity is free.

6 p.m.: Buffalo Cookout – Enjoy eating some buffalo and listening to a guest speaker! Cost: $12 for ages 13 and up; $8 for ages 3-12

Sunday, May 24

10 a.m.: Pinecone Bird Feeders – Make a pinecone feeder to take home and attract birds! This activity is free and available for ages 3 and up.

Monday, May 25

9 a.m.: Dutch Oven Breakfast – Learn about outdoor cooking and fire making. Food is provided by the park. This is an all ages activity. The cost is $5 per person.

A valid state park vehicle permit is required for park entry.
