Join park naturalists on an autumn hike through the woods for Halloween at Schramm Park on Friday, Oct. 30!

Following the approximately 1-hour hike, we will have a “Gouge a Gourd” station set up where you can try your hand at throwing a spear with an atlatl at pumpkin and gourd targets.

Meeting location: Meet in the lobby of the Schramm Education Center at 10 a.m.

What to bring: Please dress appropriately for the activity and the weather. It is optional to bring a water bottle, sun or insect protection, camera, binoculars or other gear. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for hiking.

The atlatl program is for ages 8 and up, but all ages are welcome on the hike.
