Join Becoming an Outdoors Woman and Pheasants Forever on a fun weekend learning how to pheasant hunt! The hunt will take place near Beatrice, Nebraska on October 17 – 18, 2026.

The weekend will include shotgun basics at the Beatrice Gun Club, safety while hunting and handling a firearm, shotgun selection, upland bird cleaning, meals prepared with game meat and a mentored pheasant hunt at Cub Creek Hunting Club.

Cost (covers food, lodging and hunting equipment): $175

Registration: Applications close September 10, 2026, at 9 a.m. CST and selected individuals will be notified by September 16.  Selected participants will be responsible to pay for the $175 fee by September 22, 2026. Participants are also responsible for purchasing their own hunting license and habitat stamp.
