Volunteers are needed to help paint picket fence at Fort Hartsuff! Honor America’s 250th Anniversary by participating in this Nebraska Volunteer in Parks (VIP) Challenge on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon.

We will provide water, snacks, and all the materials for painting fence. Please wear weather and work appropriate clothing for painting. Open to families, groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities. Please contact the park with any questions.

A valid vehicle park entry permit is required.
