Join us for a First Day Hike at Johnson Lake SRA! Enjoy the winter scenery and wildlife along the Roper Section Trail along Johnson Lake on this 1 to 2 mile, easy self-guided hike on a paved, accessible trail.

Bring your warm clothing, cameras and binoculars! Dogs are allowed on a six-foot leash. Bottled water and snacks will be provided.

Game and Parks staff will also conducting a Dutch oven cooking demo for park visitors.

A 2026 state park vehicle permit is required for park entry.
