Join us Saturday, October 14th from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the city of Lincoln’s Mahoney Park for a fun-filled morning of outdoor exploration designed for infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children. There will be a nature discovery area, live animals, water play station, fall movement area, and a miniature nature den construction station.

Quality time in nature has several benefits for young children including increased creativity, problem-solving skills, plus intellectual, social and physical development. During our time outdoors parents and caregivers will be given tips and tools on how they can facilitate learning through play at home with their young child(ren). Adults benefit from more outdoor time too! So, let’s make the most of this time in our local environment. We hope to see you there!
