Join us for the first annual Calamus Kayak Adventure Race at Calamus SRA! This event is free and open to the public.

This event will have four divisions: kids, adults, open class and 2-person relay. Kayaks will be provided for kids and adults. Those who choose the open class and 2-person relay may use their personal kayaks.

Event schedule

Registration: 10-11 a.m. – Registration for races takes place the day of the event at the York Point picnic shelter.

Adventure Race: 11 a.m. – Begin in the cove at York Point (wind contingency plan: race begins at Buckshot Bay boat ramp area).

A state park permit will be required upon park entry and can be purchased at the gate or online at OutdoorNebraska.gov.
