SUMMARY:Stars\, Strolls & Smores at Skyview Lake
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exciting nature walk during a full moon! This family-oriented activity introduces participants to the cultural and natural history of our area trails\, lakes and natural resources.\n\nWe usually walk an average of 1-mile round trip. Each Moon Walk starts with a short introduction to the night’s program\, then we hike to a designated area where we enjoy presentations. Presenters are experts in their field and are from our local community. The evening wraps up with FREE smores! Most Moon Walks last from 1-2 hours. There is limited restroom availability. Dress in layers because the weather at the location may be different than it is in town. Pack water and snacks for the return trip. Bring a flashlight for cloudy nights and don’t forget the bug spray!\n\nPlease note: All Moon Walk times and places are subject to change due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

DESCRIPTION:Due to warm weather\, the ice at Skyview Lake is not safe and this on-ice ice fishing clinic is being cancelled. A makeup date is not being planned. \nLearn the basics of ice fishing or pick up a few new tips from experienced anglers. \nOn Saturday\, Jan. 10 from 2-4 p.m. Central Time\, Nebraska Game and Parks and the Nebraska Fish and Game Association will host an on-ice event at Skyview Lake (west entrance) in Norfolk. A classroom clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Norfolk Lodge and Suites\, for those interested in attending both the classroom and on-ice events. Learn more here. \nLimited loaner equipment will be available on a first-come\, first-serve basis. Bait and instruction will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment. \nAll fishing regulations apply. A lack of safe ice will force the cancellation of the on-ice event.
