DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 9th annual Crofton’s Dam Race at scenic Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area in northeast Nebraska! \nChoose your adventure between three events: \n1)   A sprint triathlon with kayaking instead of swimming\, \n2)   a half marathon\, \n3)   or a 12-mile bike race. \nParticipants must be 14 years or older. The triathlon can be done individually with teams. \nTriathlon – Kayak 1.5 miles on Lewis and Clark Lake\, run 5K through the Weigand campground and bike 12 miles along the rolling hills overlooking the lake. \nBike race – It’s less of a race and more like a 12-mile scenic ride. The real reward is dominating the hills. \nHalf marathon – Run 13.1 miles along the scenic Lewis and Clark Lake. \nREGISTER HERE \nPlan to stick around the finish line in Crofton for a party with food and music. \nKayaks are provided and medals will be awarded for winners of each age group. \n  \nA valid Nebraska state park vehicle permit is required for entry and can be purchased at the park or online at GoOutdoorsNE.com. \n

DESCRIPTION:With the September archery deer season approaching\, bowhunters are invited to Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area on Saturday\, Aug. 2 for a free bowhunter’s tune-up. \nThis will be a great opportunity for bowhunters in the community to come together\, share knowledge and experiences\, and get ready for open season. \n  \nDetails\n-This program is free\, but participants will need to bring their own equipment. A valid state park vehicle permit is required to enter Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area. \n-Range will consist of a 3D setup with targets from 20-60 yards for sighting in. \n-Shooters will also have access to a paper tuner\, and instructors will be on hand to help make adjustments and tuning recommendations.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 8th annual Crofton’s Dam Race at scenic Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area in northeast Nebraska! \nChoose your adventure between three events: A sprint triathlon with kayaking instead of swimming\, a half marathon or 12-mile bike race. Participants must be 14 years or older. The triathlon can be done individually with teams. \nTriathlon – Kayak 1.5 miles on Lewis and Clark Lake\, run 5K through the Weigand campground and bike 12 miles along the rolling hills overlooking the lake. \nBike race – It’s less of a race and more like a 12-mile scenic ride. The real reward is dominating the hills. \nHalf marathon – Run 13.1 miles along the scenic Lewis and Clark Lake. \nREGISTER HERE \nPlan to stick around the finish line in Crofton for a party with food and music. \nKayaks are provided and medals will be awarded for winners of each age group. \nQuestions about the race?
