SUMMARY:Kayak Cleanup at Carter Lake
DESCRIPTION:Join Nebraska Game and Parks outdoor educators and partners for a night of kayaking and cleaning up your local aquatic habitat at Carter Lake in Omaha on Thursday\, Sept. 10. Because what’s good for wildlife is good for people too! \nWe will meet at the boat ramp on the Northeast side of the lake\, just off of Abbott Drive and E Carter Blvd. If you take directions to the airport from the south\, and turn left on to E Carter Blvd\, the boat ramp will be on your left. The general Carter Lake Address is 4405 Carter Lake Shore Dr W\, Omaha\, NE 68110.  \nBasic instruction will be given at the beginning of the event\, and all materials provided to those who register a kayak. You will be emailed prior to the event to confirm your registration and any needed details. \nThis event is free and we welcome you to either borrow a kayak or bring your own! Due to limited kayak supply\, we do require registration. \nIf you would like to use a kayak from Nebraska Game and Parks\, REGISTER HERE  \n(Kayaks are available to people ages 10 & up\, and are limited on a first come first serve basis.) \nIf you are bringing your own kayak\, or cleaning up on land\, REGISTER HERE  \nFor questions please contact Wildlife Educator Ly Graff at ly.graff@nebraska.gov.
