SUMMARY:Wetland Bioblitz at Pioneers Park
DESCRIPTION:Join Nebraska Game and Parks at Pioneers Park Nature Center as we explore the biodiversity of the wetlands and surrounding ecosystems. Biologists and environmental educators will lead sessions exploring different parts of the ecosystem. You’ll gain tools to do citizen science and species identification. SUMMARY:Wetlands Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Explore some of Lincoln’s coolest nature from your bike for American Wetlands Month. Join this ride from 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 4\, starting at Pioneers Park Nature Center and ending at Wilderness Park. \nThe event is free\, though registration and helmets are required. Register through our Survey Monkey form. \nOn this 30-minute bike ride on trails and park roads\, you’ll hear from biologists about the wetlands right off trail. \nThis program is being presented in partnership with the City of Lincoln Parks and Recreation. Parking is available at Pioneers Park Nature Center. The ride ends at the northern side of Wilderness Park.
