DESCRIPTION:Check in begins at 5 pm / ends at 5:45 pm; practice and scoring begin at 6 pm. \nMEMBERSHIP\nThe tournament is open to all USA Archery members as well as archers with no affiliation. Eligible USA Archery members can earn qualifying pin scores (pins are to be physically awarded by your home club – please check with your coach). SUMMARY:Umbrella Match for Handguns Winter 2026 - Match 2
DESCRIPTION:Registration for the Outdoor Education Center’s Umbrella Match for handguns on January 13 or 17. This match will be offered on two dates – attend on whichever day works best for your schedule (Tuesday or Saturday). \nThis is a three-match series open to pistols from all manufacturers. The course of fire will be the same as the GSSF Indoor League Series. \nThis is the second match for this series. Competitors must shoot in two out of the three available matches (December\, January\, February) to be eligible for prizes. February 24 & 28 are the scheduled dates for the third match. \nCompetitors may shoot up to 6 divisions – Centerfire Stock\, Centerfire Unlimited\, Centerfire Single Stack/Revolver\, Rimfire Stock\, Rimfire Unlimited\, and Rimfire Revolver. For division descriptions\, see below. First entry is $20\, second is $10\, and third through sixth (each) is $5. Secondary entries in the same division are $5 each and only count as additional chances in the prize drawings. \nThis match will follow GSSF’s ‘Original’ course of fire for all Stock and Unlimited divisions and ‘Option E’ for Single Stack/Revolver divisions. \nSchedule: \nTuesday\, January 13: Check in available starting at 1 pm; check in closes at 6:30 pm. \nSaturday\, January 17: Check in available starting at 9 am; check in closes at 11:30 am. \nPreregister to schedule a check in (squadding) time. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Turpin Outdoor Education Center’s Pistol Matches on January 24\, 2026. \nThis stand-alone match is open to pistols from all manufacturers. All matches are shot from a one-handed standing position. See information below about courses of fire. \nThis month’s matches will be:\nFree pistol (.22)\nStandard pistol (.22)\nCMP Air Pistol \nCompetitors may shoot one\, two or all three matches. First entry is $25\, second is $12\, and third is $10. \nFor target\, distance\, rounds\, and timing summary\, see below. Complete event rules can be found here. \nSCHEDULE\nSaturday\, January 24th: Relays available for Free Pistol\, Standard Pistol\, and CMP Air Pistol from 8 am to 12 pm. Select relay during registration. \nPRIZES will be awarded for first place in Free Pistol\, Standard Pistol\, or CMP Air Pistol matches. Additional prizes may be awarded by random drawing. \nMATCHES\nCompetitors may shoot an official entry in all of the matches. \nFree Pistol\nAlso called 50 Meter Pistol. Open to any .22 caliber rimfire pistol with open sights; see rulebook for complete gun specifications. There is a 15-minute preparation and sighter period prior to record shots. All 60 record shots fired within 1 ¾ hour (105 minute) time limit. Uses target B-11 at 50 feet. \nStandard Pistol\nAlso called 25 Meter Pistol. Open to any .22 caliber rimfire pistols with open sights; see rulebook for complete gun specifications. Five sighters may be fired in a 150 second time limit. This is a 60 shot match divided into 3 stages.\nStage 1: 5 shots in 2.5 minutes [150 seconds]\, 4 times = 20 shots\nStage 2: 5 shots in 20 seconds\, 4 times = 20 shots\nStage 3: 5 shots in 10 seconds\, 4 times = 20 shots\nUses target B-33 at 50 feet. Course of fire takes about 30 minutes to complete. \nCMP Air Pistol \nOpen to .177 caliber air pistols with open sights; see rulebook for complete gun specifications. There is a 15-minute preparation and sighter period prior to record shots. All 60 record shots fired within 1 ½ hour (90 minute) time limit. Uses standard B-40 10 meter target. \nREGISTER HERE
