Rides will take place from 6:30 to 11 p.m.\, beginning every five minutes. The public can begin making their reservations on Monday\, October 5 at 9 a.m. by visiting or calling the park office or purchasing the tickets (available beginning Oct. 5) online at this link. Reservation-only; no walk-ins will be accepted. \nPayment details: $12 for ages 13 and older\, $9 for ages 3-12\, and no charge for ages 2 and under. Reservations can be made for a maximum of 12 riders or full hayracks (25 people) are $275. Payment is required at the time of your reservation and no refunds are available unless the event is canceled. Payment can be made over the phone with card only. Cash\, card or check will be accepted at the park. DESCRIPTION:Join Ponca State Park Naturalists on the Corps of Discovery Trail to watch the moon rise!  \nMeet at the Riverfront Playground for guided hikes (approximately one hour) along the beautiful wooded trails. These hikes will include some steep inclines and are considered moderately challenging. Hikers are encouraged to bring water and snacks. \nHandheld flashlights will be provided. DESCRIPTION:Join park naturalists on an autumn hike through the woods for Halloween at Schramm Park on Friday\, Oct. 30! \nFollowing the approximately 1-hour hike\, we will have a “Gouge a Gourd” station set up where you can try your hand at throwing a spear with an atlatl at pumpkin and gourd targets. \nMeeting location: Meet in the lobby of the Schramm Education Center at 10 a.m. \nWhat to bring: Please dress appropriately for the activity and the weather. It is optional to bring a water bottle\, sun or insect protection\, camera\, binoculars or other gear. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for hiking. \nThe atlatl program is for ages 8 and up\, but all ages are welcome on the hike.
