DESCRIPTION:Registration for the Outdoor Education Center’s Umbrella Match for handguns on October 21 or 25\, 2025. This match will be offered on two dates – attend on whichever day works best for your schedule (Tuesday or Saturday). \nThis is a three-match series open to pistols from all manufacturers. The course of fire will be the same as the GSSF Indoor League Series. \nThis is the second match for this series. Competitors must shoot in two out of the three available matches (September\, October\, November) to be eligible for prizes. November 18 or 22 are the scheduled dates for the third match. \nCompetitors may shoot up to 6 divisions – Centerfire Stock\, Centerfire Unlimited\, Centerfire Single Stack/Revolver\, Rimfire Stock\, Rimfire Unlimited\, and Rimfire Revolver. For division descriptions\, see below. First entry is $20\, second is $10\, and third through sixth (each) is $5. Each room holds a story — some historical\, some mysterious — as the tour blends the history of ghosts\, some Nebraska history\, Victorian customs and superstitions\, and just enough spooky folklore to give guests goosebumps. \nThis will not be a typical haunted house experience\, but there will be some subtle theatrical effects for added suspense. DESCRIPTION:Looking to get outdoors and volunteer? Schramm Park SRA is holding a volunteer opportunity to assist with oak woodland restoration efforts. Join NGPC staff as we walk the prairie to harvest seeds from native prairie plants. Seeds will be used to help with oak savanna restoration efforts. \nWear sturdy\, closed-toed shoes and long pants\, bring water\, and outdoor work gloves. Long sleeves are also recommended. All ages are welcome for this opportunity\, but anyone under the age of 18 must have an accompanying adult. \nRegister in advance if plan to attend so we can estimate head count for work materials: https://arcg.is/H1L5S2. \nMeet in the Schramm Education Center lobby. We’ll kick things off at 9 am with an introduction to the project and then hike to the prairie as a group to get started.
