DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2026 Midwest Field Sectionals and National Series at the Turpin Outdoor Education Center on Sunday\, June 21. \nThe 2026 Outdoor Sectional format for all sections will feature the NEW Modern Field\, Hunter\, and Animal rounds. Archers will shoot 12 targets of each round\, following the new round rules. Check in will be open 8-8:45 a.m. Shooting will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. \nVisit the event page for complete round details and rules. \n  \nThis isn’t standing on a single line shooting the same distance all day. This sectional match moves you through a field archery course shooting a mix of 3 separate archery rounds – Field\, Hunter and Animal rounds. \nEach target has different distances and scenery. Light\, shadows\, wind and terrain all come into play. \nBeyond just competing locally\, this event brings competition across multiple different states. DESCRIPTION:Join Nebraska Game & Parks outdoor educators and partners for a night of kayaking and cleaning up your local aquatic habitat. Because what’s good for wildlife is good for people too! \nBasic instruction will be given at the beginning of the event\, and all materials provided to those who register a kayak. You will be emailed prior to the event to confirm your registration and any needed details. \nWe will be providing trash bags & gloves for all those interested in helping to clean up trash while on the water.  We will meet at the boat ramp and dock on the south side of the lake on Holmes S. Shore Road. This area is right in the middle on the south side of the lake. On google maps it is identified as Holmes Lake Sailboat Races.  \nThis event is free and we welcome you to either borrow a kayak or bring your own! SUMMARY:Little Saplings Nature Discovery Program
DESCRIPTION:Do you have a little one who loves animals\, nature\, and the outdoors? Are you looking for opportunities to explore the outdoors together with your children? Join us for Little Saplings\, Schramm Education Center’s early childhood nature discovery program. Little Saplings\, a monthly program designed for children ages 2 – 5 and their adult caregiver\, will bring nature themes to life for your child through story time\, sensory activities\, crafts\, and outdoor exploration! \nThe series is held on the first Wednesday of every month from 9 – 10 am and 10 – 11 am.  The cost to participate is $5 per child and $5 per adult per program and includes admission to the Education Center after the program. Schramm Family Pass members participate free. A State Park Vehicle Entry Permit is not required in the Schramm Education Center parking lot. SUMMARY:Field Archery & 3D League
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nLEAGUE OVERVIEW\n\nThe FHA and 3D rounds simulate real-world shooting conditions\, challenging archers with varied distances\, target sizes\, and terrain. Rounds rotate weekly to provide experience across multiple formats\, helping archers prepare for competition or simply enjoy shooting with others.\n\nLeague nights are held on Thursdays at 6:00 PM\, beginning April 30. Participants will meet at the outdoor shooting tower before heading out in assigned groups to their starting targets on the field course.\n\nIf you are unable to attend Thursday league nights\, weekly targets will remain set for drop-in shooting during open hours (Friday through Tuesday\, sunrise to sunset). Archers may collect a scorecard and complete the round on their own time. Targets are rotated weekly.\n\n3D rounds are only available to be shot during scheduled Thursday league nights.\n\nRegistration:\nSign up for all 10 weeks for $80 (20% discount for annual pass holders)\, or pay $10 per night at the door.\n________________________________________\nROUND DESCRIPTIONS\n\nFIELD (NFAA)\n14 targets • 4 arrows per target\nStandard NFAA Field format.\n\nHUNTER (NFAA)\n14 targets • 4 arrows per target\nStandard NFAA Hunter format with varied shooting positions.\n\nANIMAL (NFAA)\n14 targets • up to 3 arrows per target\nHighest scoring arrow counts. First Shots makes getting started in shooting very easy – and\, thanks to NSSF partnership*\, it’s only $10! \nAt a First Shots seminar\, you’ll receive:\n-An educational introduction to the safe and recreational use of firearms\n-Individual and group training\n-A rundown of shooting sports opportunities for all levels of interest\n-A chance to give shooting a try! \nThis seminar offers a small group setting for students ages 16 and over.
