DESCRIPTION:Celebrate spring by exploring Nebraska’s colorful wildflowers! Learn how to identify blooming plants\, discover their important role in the ecosystem\, and see why every flower has a story to tell.\n\nThe Wildcat Hills Homeschool Program meets once a month at 10 a.m. Mountain Time at the Wildcat Hills Nature Center. Each month\, certified educators will lead a new hands-on nature program exploring the unique ecosystems\, wildlife\, plants\, and habitats of western Nebraska. Through interactive activities\, outdoor exploration\, and observation\, students will build a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world. \nThis program is FREE\, but a valid Nebraska Game and Parks Entry Permit is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Programs may be canceled or rescheduled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. \nFor more information or to request accommodations\, please contact the Wildcat Hills Nature Center at 308-436-3777.
