DESCRIPTION:Join us on the water this summer at Big Elk Lake on Tues\, July 7! Certified Instructors will teach basics of kayaking\, including safety\, equipment\, water entry/exit and paddling strokes. \nThree sessions offered (10 a.m. to noon\, 2-4 p.m.\, and 6-8 p.m.). Pick the time that works best into your schedule. \nBecoming an Outdoors Woman paddling workshops are open to ladies who are over age 18 and are new to the BOW kayaking program. All equipment will be provided for participants\, but you are welcome to bring their own kayak &/or life jackets. \nCost: $15 \nPreregistration is required for this event: REGISTER HERE \nLearn more about the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program by visiting our BOW web page.
