Join us on Friday evening\, June 5 for a ranger-led night sky viewing event. \nRangers from The Niobrara National Scenic River and members of the Platte Valley Astronomical Observers will be there to give you a program and then guide you through the wonders of the night sky at this uniquely dark location. There will be several telescopes to look through. \nBring layers and blankets of needed. If you have a red covering over a flashlight to protect your night vision\, that is also recommended. Be prepared to ask a lot of questions! \nIf weather conditions are cloudy/windy\, this event will be rescheduled for Saturday\, June 6. Please check this calendar event or check with the park office for updates. \nThis event is free of charge\, but a valid state park permit is required. \n\nThis event is free of charge\, but a park permit is required.
