SUMMARY:Hammer’s Hill Exhibit Dedication at Rock Creek Station
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Rock Creek Station Visitor Center Museum as we dedicate our newest exhibit installation\, which tells the story of the Hammer’s Hill cache. This exhibit features a collection of prehistoric Native American artifacts discovered locally in Jefferson County\, Nebraska\, in the 1960s. A ribbon cutting by the Fairbury Chamber of Commerce will take place following and light refreshments will be provided. Guests will have time to browse the museum after the ribbon cutting. \nThis event is free and open to the public and takes place on Nebraska Game and Parks annual Free Fishing and Park Entry Day. Guests visiting the park will not need to purchase a park entry permit to enjoy the event.
