First Shots makes getting started in shooting very easy – and\, thanks to NSSF partnership*\, it’s only $10! \nAt a First Shots seminar\, you’ll receive:\n-An educational introduction to the safe and recreational use of firearms\n-Individual and group training\n-A rundown of shooting sports opportunities for all levels of interest\n-A chance to give shooting a try! \nThis seminar offers a small group setting for students ages 16 and over. All equipment is provided. \nClosed-neck shirts and closed-toe shoes are recommended. \n(Students age 18 and under MUST be accompanied by legal parent/guardian.) \n*NSSF is the National Shooting Sports Foundation. \nREGISTER HERE

SUMMARY:2026 Fall Indoor Archery League - Session 1
DESCRIPTION:Add excitement and variety to your range practice by joining our Fall Indoor Archery League! \nThe Fall Archery League “Session 1” will meet at 7 pm on Thursday evenings for 6 weeks\, September 24 – October 29. If you can’t make it one week\, feel free to drop in during the center’s open hours and shoot the round. All targets must be shot at the Outdoor Education Center. \nEach week will be a different round\, with scores recorded\, and a cumulative score for the series. Target face and distances will accord to each round’s rules for ages and bow style. \nBow styles will be:\nCompound\nFixed Pin/Bowhunter\nBarebow / Traditional / Genesis (not NASP)\nRecurve\nNASP (will shoot a standard NASP round each week – up to 19 years old) \nIndividual prizes will be awarded by drawing ‘tickets’. Tickets are earned by attendance\, top score each week\, most overall improved\, and top overall score. The number of prizes awarded will depend on number of entries (minimum of 1 prize per 5 entries). Weekly top score tickets will be awarded for each bow style represented. Final cumulative scores tickets may involve combined divisions\, depending on participation. \nAges 8 and up. Previous archery experience required. \nParticipants without personal equipment may opt to use a rental bow (or if taking a class\, their class bow). \nSign up for all 6 weeks at once for $50 (20% discount for annual pass holders)\, or pay at the door for $10 per attendance. \nREGISTER NOW \nPlease call us at 402-471-6141 if you experience difficulty with registration.
