A mentored Youth Waterfowl Hunt will take place on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 8 a.m. Mountain Time at Clear Creek Wildlife Management Area.

In-person registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Clear Creek WMA office. Youths ages 11-15 are welcome to attend free of charge. Space is limited to 20 youths; pre-registration & Hunter Education class are required prior to participation. Snacks and lunch to be provided.

There will also be door prizes and raffles, along with a drawing for a youth lifetime hunting permit.

Learning Stations will include:

•Firearm Safety

•Decoy placement

•Zones of fire

•Blind safety

•Duck calling

•Trap shooting

•Dog demo

•Boating skills and safety

•Waterfowl identification

•Mentored hunt with a Conservation Officer
