A mentored Youth Waterfowl Hunt will take place on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 8 a.m. Mountain Time at Clear Creek Wildlife Management Area.

In-person registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Clear Creek WMA office. Youths ages 11-15 are welcome to attend free of charge. Space is limited to 25 youths; pre-registration & Hunter Education class are required prior to participation. Preference will be given to kids who have never participated in the youth hunt. Snacks and lunch to be provided.

There will also be door prizes and raffles, along with a drawing for a youth lifetime hunting permit.

•Firearm Safety

•Decoy placement

•Zones of fire

•Blind safety

•Duck calling

•Trap shooting

•Dog demo

•Boating skills and safety

•Waterfowl identification

•Mentored hunt with a Conservation Officer
