About the presenter: Ashley Brinkman is the Government Affairs Director at the Pet Advocacy Network (PAN), the advocacy group for the pet care community. She leads PAN’s Herpetological Committee work, Habitattitude program efforts and is the main pet industry contact for the Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force. Brinkman has direct experience coaching industry partners on how to respond to developing pet industry issues and operating as a liaison between industry and regulatory bodies like the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and state agencies across America. She also operates as the industry liaison for the Healthy Amphibian Trade Research Project and is the Director of Public Relations for the Healthy Trade Institute.
