Take flight into the fascinating world of birds! Discover incredible adaptations, learn to identify common species, and explore how birds survive and thrive in Nebraska’s diverse habitats.

The Wildcat Hills Homeschool Program meets once a month at 10 a.m. Mountain Time at the Wildcat Hills Nature Center. Each month, certified educators will lead a new hands-on nature program exploring the unique ecosystems, wildlife, plants, and habitats of western Nebraska. Through interactive activities, outdoor exploration, and observation, students will build a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world.

This program is FREE, but a valid Nebraska Game and Parks Entry Permit is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Programs may be canceled or rescheduled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
