Help us get Wagon Train Lake ready for the season! Volunteers can come for the whole day or drop in whenever they have time. Projects will wrap up around 4 p.m.
Volunteers will work in teams on a variety of park improvement projects, including:
– Painting picnic tables
– Replacing boards on picnic tables
– Painting playground equipment
– Painting restrooms
– Light carpentry projects (trim, siding, doors)
Meet at the Electrical Campground at 9 a.m. to get assigned to a project team.
Lunch will be provided thanks to Anderson Ford South and other community donors, with coffee available in the morning. Register ahead of time so we can plan for lunch.
What to Bring
– Work clothes you don’t mind getting paint on
– Closed-toe shoes
– Water bottle
– If you are a carpenter and would like to bring your own tools, you’re welcome to.
– A valid Nebraska State Park vehicle permit is required for entry.
