Trail Days at Rock Creek Station SHP

The first weekend in June (5th & 6th) gives visitors a chance to travel back in time to the mid-1800s when covered wagons were the principle means of transportation along the trails that cut through the Fairbury area in Southeast Nebraska. Trail Days feature a re-enactment of the Hickok-McCanles fracas, Pony Express mail demonstrations, mule-pulled wagon rides, and historical interpretations and demonstrations on the East and West Ranches.
Saturday night, June 5th enjoy a Buffalo Stew Cookout at 7 p.m. Advance cookout tickets will be on sale at the park’s Visitor Center and at the Fairbury chamber of Commerce Office. Adults $9/ Children $6 (13 & under).
A valid Vehicle Park Entry Permit is required.
