Trees are an important part of every single community. For humans they provide us with many essential things- like oxygen, food, helping us with air quality, they help preserve our soil and support wildlife. Nebraska may be a prairie state, but trees are still a crucial resource for us all. In this episode we will not only explore what type of trees we have in Nebraska, but we will also look at the science behind bark, evaporation, photosynthesis, and what animals live in trees and rely on them to survive. Join us and learn all about Nebraska’s trees.
