Venomous and poisonous are often used interchangeably with each other, but truth is they couldn’t be more different! Poison is a toxin that gets into the body by inhaling, swallowing, or absorbing. Venom is when the toxin is injected into the blood stream. See, very different! In this Science of episode we will not only be learning the difference between these two words, but will also be breaking down some of the truly venomous and poisonous animals in Nebraska and the world. Don’t miss this one!
