Science of…Smell (Virtual Event)

January 25 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

FREE
Each basic category of animal has its own unique way of smelling. Science shows that most animals have a sense of smell, but the organ they use to smell can vary widely across the animal kingdom. A Turkey Vulture smelling looks incredibly different than a coyote smelling. In this Science Of episode, we will focus on what it actually means to “smell” and what that looks like in birds, mammals, insects, reptiles, and amphibians. Why do animals need to smell, and what are they communicating to each other by doing this? Don’t miss this episode as we break down many different smells and how animals do it.
This is a FREE event, however, registration is required to attend this virtual event. Please use this link to register: https://outdoornebraska.zoom.us/…/tJErcuiopz0uHtEX5XO…
