Science of…Prehistoric Creatures

June 15, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

FREE
Whales living on land, rhinoceroses and camels living in Nebraska, mammoths, bear dogs, and car-sized sloths. There are just a few of the prehistoric creatures that lived and roamed the landscape. Nebraska is actually a fantastic place to see fossils of these creatures today. But, fossils don’t always do the animal justice. Join us on this Science of prehistoric creatures to find out what animals were living right here millions and millions of years ago. What key adaptations did they have? What extant animals are they related to? Join us and find out!
