Science of…Opossums

November 9, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

FREE
Cute is a subjective term, I believe in the phrase, so ugly you’re cute, and that’s exactly what opossums are…adorable! Not only are they adorable, they are also marsupials. So, they are distantly related to kangaroos, wallabies, and koalas. All of these animals have something very distinctive in common (besides most of them living in the land down under- pouches). These pouches make these animals unique as this is how their babies develop. In this Science of episode we will be exploring all the fascinating adaptions that make opossums so weird, but yet so misunderstood and unique. Don’t miss the last episode of 2023, it is sure to thrill!
