Science Of…Corvids (Virtual Event)

January 11 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

FREE
This diverse group of birds encompasses more than 120 species and just like with most geniuses, crows and their relatives tend to be misunderstood. These incredibly clever birds have some of the largest brain-to-body-size ratio of any birds and have been used in folklore for centuries as tricksters, thieves, problem solvers, or wise advisors. In this 2024 kickoff Science Of episode, we will focus on how this intelligent group of birds gets food, communicates with each other, use tools, solve puzzles and even hold funerals for their dead. Don’t miss the first Science of episode of the New Year as we deep dive into Corvids.
This is a FREE event, however, registration is required to attend this virtual event.
