Science of…Animal Eyes

“All the better to see you with my dear.” Well, some animals see and other animals truly see. Animal eyes are some of the most diverse characteristics out there. From vertical slits belonging to ambush predators, or extremely large eyes for nocturnal animals, to even compound and simple eyes. In this Science Of we will be diving eye first into the different types of optics that animal possess. Whether you are a predator, prey, mammal, or reptile animal eyes are extremely important and useful features. Come join us to learn more about the unique and unusual animal eyes.
