Enjoy learning from Nebraska biologists while finding and identifying as many species of plants and animals as possible! This is a great chance for people of all ages to learn about citizen science and participate in Nebraska’s conservation efforts.
Sessions are come and go as you please.

7 A.M. – 8:15 A.M.: Birding
8:20 A.M. – 9:30 A.M.: Small Mammals
9:40 A.M. – 10:50 A.M.: Plants – Cultural/Medicinal/Edible Plants
11 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.: Amphibians
12:30 P.M. – 2 P.M.: Lunch Break + Activity (Painting bluebirds boxes)
2 P.M. – 3:30 P.M.: Reptiles
3:30 P.M. – 4:30 P.M.: Macro Invertebrates
4:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.: Dinner Break
7:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.: Pollinator/sweep nets/insects
9 P.M. – 11 P.M.: Moth Lighting and Bat Mist Netting
Camping for the event is welcomed. Free of charge with a park permit and for all ages.
