Registration for the Outdoor Education Center’s .22 & Air Pistol Matches on January 27, 2024.
This is a stand-alone match open to pistols from all manufacturers. See information below about courses of fire. All matches are shot from a one-handed standing position.
Competitors may shoot up to two .22 pistol styles – Standard or Free. An Air Pistol match will also be offered for January. For descriptions, see below. First entry is $20, second is $10, and third is $5.

Schedule:
Saturday, January 27th: Relays available for Standard, Free, and Air Pistol from 8 am to 12 pm. Select relay during registration.
PRIZES
Shirts or hats will be awarded for first place in Standard, Free, or Air Pistol matches.
Additional prizes may be awarded by random drawing.
MATCHES
Competitors may shoot an official entry in all of the matches.
Standard Pistol
Also called 25 Meter Pistol. Open to any .22 caliber rimfire pistols with open sights; see rulebook for complete gun specifications. Five sighters may be fired in a 150 second time limit. This is a 60 shot match divided into 3 stages.
Stage 1: 5 shots in 2.5 minutes [150 seconds], 4 times = 20 shots
Stage 2: 5 shots in 20 seconds, 4 times = 20 shots
Stage 3: 5 shots in 10 seconds, 4 times = 20 shots
Uses target B-33 at 50 feet. Course of fire takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Free Pistol
Also called 50 Meter Pistol. Open to any .22 caliber rimfire pistol with open sights; see rulebook for complete gun specifications. There is a 15-minute preparation and sighter period prior to record shots. All 60 record shots fired within 1 ¾ hour (105 minute) time limit. Uses target B-11 at 50 feet.
Air Pistol
Open to .177 caliber air pistols with open sights; see rulebook for complete gun specifications. There is a 15-minute preparation and sighter period prior to record shots. All 60 record shots fired within 1 ½ hour (90 minute) time limit. Uses standard B-40 10 meter target.
