Enjoy the sounds of the forest on a crisp winter night and join Schramm naturalists to hike the forest after nightfall.
We will hike for about an hour and will walk about 1.5 miles, following the west side of the Hackberry Trail and the full Red Cedar Trail loop. There are stairs at the trailhead and one spot along the hike where there will be an elevation change and we will walk up a hill. We will likely stop halfway through the hike, turn our lights off, and give our eyes time to adjust so that we can search the skies for meteors & constellations.
This is a free program. A State Park Vehicle Entry Permit is required.
