Dr. Natalia Bjorklund, a Pollinator Scientist, is a recent graduate of the entomology department at UNL, where she studied wild bees and the ornamental plants that provided them with pollen and nectar resources. Before that, she was a horticulture educator for Nebraska Extension.
Katie Lamke is the Bumble Bee Conservation Specialist working for Xerces Society, and leads the Nebraska Bumble Bee Atlas project, where she fosters community engagement to increase our understanding of the state’s native bumble bees.

We’ll dive deeper into the remarkable world of nature found in Nebraska by having lively conversations with real scientists, and by sharing and asking your questions with the experts.
