Event Listing: National Archery Scholarship Tour (NAST) – 2025 Season
Turpin Outdoor Education Center will be hosting the National Archery Scholarship Tour, a premier competition series with indoor and outdoor events across multiple divisions and age groups, at various locations around the country. Compete for medals, scholarships, and national rankings!
Tournament Date/Time: Sunday, 2/9/2025 4:00pm
Key Details:
Format: 60-arrow qualification round, 12 ends of 5 arrows each, 4-minute ends
Distance: 18 meters
Registration: $75 for the Scholarship Division and $45 for the Medal Only Division.
Check-In: Begins 1 hour before each shooting line and closes 15 minutes before shooting begins.
Divisions: Competitors are divided by age (14U, 19U, Collegiate, Adult) and bow type (Barebow, Compound, Fixed Pin, Recurve, Genesis).
Age will be determined by the age of the shooter on the first day of competition.
• Archers may choose to shoot up in older age divisions.
Barebow, Compound, Fixed Pin, and Recurve will be offered for the following age divisions.
14U – 14 years of age or younger
19U – 19 years of age or younger
Collegiate – 30 years of age or younger and currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
Adult – 20 years of age and older
Genesis/basic compound will be offered for the following age divisions.
14U – 14 years of age or younger
19U – 19 years of age or younger
Target Face:
• Barebow: 60cm 14u; All others use 40cm 5-spot ‘Vegas’ OR 40cm 10-ring single spot
• Compound: 40cm 5-spot ‘Vegas’ OR 40cm 10-ring single spot
• Fixed Pin: 40cm 5-spot ‘Vegas’ OR 40cm 10-ring single spot
• Recurve: 60cm 14u; All others use 40cm 5-spot ‘Vegas’ OR 40cm 10-ring single spot
• Genesis/basic compound: 80cm 10-ring single spot
Scholarship Awards: Top 8 archers competing in the Barebow, Compound, Fixed Pin and Recurve class in 14U, 19U, and Collegiate divisions are eligible, with awards funded by registration fees.
Medal Class: All Adult Divisions as well as Genesis/basic compound bow class are medal only.
Local Awards: Awards will be given after completion of the final shooting line
Additional Information:
• Archer check-in begins 1 hour before each shooting line and closes 15 minutes before shooting begins.
• Practice: Archers may practice at the facility during normal business hours:
• Monday-Friday 12-8pm, Saturday – Sunday 12-6pm (closed Wednesday).
• Cost is $3/hr for students and $10/hr for adults. 30 day and annual passes are valid and available for use.
