Calling all community scientists! Join us at Schramm Education Center on Saturday, June 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. to learn all about monarch conservation during this workshop in partnership with Monarch Joint Venture.
During this free workshop, you will explore various methods for assessing monarch habitat, with a special focus on the Integrated Monarch Monitoring Program (IMMP)—a nationwide protocol designed for tracking monarch and pollinator populations.
The IMMP offers flexible options for monitoring nectar plants, milkweed, monarch reproduction, and adult monarch activity, while also facilitating data sharing among stakeholders.
Additionally, we will discuss best management practices for maintaining monarch habitat and address any questions you have about monarch conservation in Nebraska.
Interested participants must REGISTER HERE (select the June 14 event).
