Join us on Saturday, May 24, for the 11th annual Migratory Bird Day: All About Turkey Vultures at Indian Cave State Park!
Schedule:
5 p.m.: Guided bird outing – “Birding for everybody and every body!”
This free birding outing is accessible and open to everyone, including beginner birders and families with small children. Join a guided bird outing through the new trail near the pollinator gardens. Meet at the museum gazebo.
The birding trail is about 1 ⁄ 4 mile in a loop around the pollinator gardens. The trail is a mowed grass trail with a slight slope. The trail is well shaded by tree cover. The guided outing will take about 45 minutes.
4-6 p.m.: Activities for all ages, make n’ take bird crafts and games
6-7:30 p.m.: Fish fry – $12/Adults, $6/Kids meal (3 and under free)
9 p.m.: Glow-in-the-dark egg hunt for toddlers through age 11 (please bring your own baskets)
A 2025 Nebraska state park vehicle permit required for entry.
