Little Saplings Monthly Early Childhood Program at Schramm Education Center

An event every month that begins at 9:00 am on day First of the month, happening 4 times

Do you have a little one who loves animals, nature, and the outdoors? Are you looking for opportunities to explore the outdoors together with your children? Join us for Little Saplings, Schramm Education Center’s early childhood nature discovery program. Little Saplings, a monthly program designed for children ages 2 – 5 and their adult caregiver will bring nature themes to life for your child through story time, sensory activities, crafts, and outdoor exploration!

When:  First Wednesday of every month from 9am-10am

Cost:  $4.00 per child and $5.00 per adult per program and includes admission to the Education Center after the program.  Schramm Family Pass members-Free

No Registration required.

No Vehicle park permit required if parking in the Education Center parking lot

September 1 Buggy World What makes a bug, a bug? Join us as we look high, low, over and under for bugs found at Schramm Park!
October 6 All about Owls Hoot hoot hoot! Learn what the hoot is all about by exploring the world of owls!
November 3 Fall Colors Do plants and animals change color during the year? Why are living things different colors? We’ll think like scientists as we explore the natural world of color.
December 1 Night Animals Not all animals sleep at night! Discover how nature comes alive at night for many animals.
