Kayak Clean Up at Holmes Lake

July 8 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Kayakers cleaning up trash at a lake.
Wildlife thrive in clean and healthy spaces, and people do too! Join Nebraska Game and Parks outdoor educators for a night of service to our local waters while kayaking.

Safety and basic instruction will be given at the beginning of the event. You will be emailed prior to the event to confirm your registration and any needed details.

We will be providing trash bags and gloves for all those interested in helping to clean up trash while on the water. We will meet at the boat ramp and dock on the south side of the lake on Holmes S. Shore Road. This area is right in the middle on the south side of the lake. On Google maps, it is identified as Holmes Lake Sailboat Races.

This event is free and we welcome you to either borrow a kayak or bring your own! Due to limited kayak supply, we do require registration. Kayaks are available to people ages 10 & up, and are limited on a first come first serve basis.
