Learning how to prepare for adventures (expected or unexpected) without modern conveniences is a worthy challenge. This camp will teach participants essential skills that will come in handy when something doesn’t go according to plan, or might be particularly fun to try on a camping trip.
Participants will gain knowledge useful for single day outdoor trips, more extended hiking excursions, and/or travel emergencies.
Topics covered include fire building, hunting skills, outdoor cooking, water resources, hiking, shelter building, essential supplies, and first aid.
Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:00 am with camp activities starting at 8:30 am. Pick up is from 4:00 – 4:15 pm.
