Saddle up for the first horseback ride of the year at Branched Oak SRA! Horses (not provided – must bring your own) and their riders will meet in Area #2 at  and ride trails from Area #2 to Area #14, roughly 8 miles or more depending on weather. Surface is grass and trails range from flat to hilly.

Warm up around a bon fire after the ride and enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, cookies provided by our park staff.  During previous years, riders have brought a potluck of snacks and sandwiches for a post-ride picnic. Wear appropriate clothing for cold weather conditions.

A 2024 state park permit is required for entry.
