Join us to kick off the new year by exploring the West Ridge Campground Trail around the Sherman Reservoir SRA! Visitors may see deer, foxes, birds and other types of wildlife. Enjoy the winter scenery on this 1.2 mile hike. This is a dirt trail with a variety of steepness grades. There is a potential to exit around .7 miles. Meet at the shower house parking lot.

If you do not wish to hike back at the end of the trail, there will be park vehicles working as a shuttle.

Dress for the weather and bring your water and snacks! Dogs are allowed on a six-foot leash.

A Valid 2024 Park Vehicle Permit is required.
