First Day Hike at Lake Maloney SRA

Join us for a memorable New Years Day adventure! Enjoy the beauty of a First Day Hike by discovering the tracks of wildlife that also enjoy Lake Maloney. Afterward, we will gather around the campfire and warm up with a Dutch oven dessert.
We will enjoy a gentle hike around the edge of the lake to look for wildlife tracks. If weather allows, we can hike on the beach or ice which is optional for visitors.
We will meet south of the outlet boatramp for an easy 0.5 mile hike.
A valid 2024 park permit is required.
