Start 2022 with a First Day Hike, January 1st at Buffalo Bill State Historical Park beginning at 1 p.m. and lasting about 1.5 hours. We will start at Duck Pond.
This will be a moderate hike that will travel approximately 1/2 mile. You may want to bring a water bottle, snacks, camera, bird ID book, and binoculars. Make sure you are layered up for the weather.
No age requirement, bring your pet on a leash, too!
We will be looking for tracks along the pond and stream, identifying trees and birds, walk to the bison and show the differences of horns and antlers, and so much more.
A valid vehicle park permit is required, which can be purchased at the office.
