Looking for a good way to be introduced to the lifelong habits of safe gun handling and the basic concepts of marksmanship? Whether you have interest in recreation, competition, or hunting, this class is where you need to be! This Explore Rifle session is a 4-week course designed for youth ages 11-16, but open to adults.

Bolt-action rimfire rifles (.22 cal) will be used for all class exercises (equipment provided, along with eye and ear protection). Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay and learn how to help guide their new shooter.

Each week there will be a short classroom lesson and a practical range session. The goal of the course is first to emphasize awareness for safety, and secondly to improve practical handling and accuracy skills.
