This event is held in cooperation with the LPS NRD. Look for the Family Fishing Trailer, where loaner rods and reels, bait and fishing instruction are available free to participants. This is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages who have never been fishing or haven’t fished for years to learn.

All participants ages 16 and older need a fishing license. Visit OutdoorNebraska.org for permits.

This Community Fishing event is held in conjunction with the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District 50th Anniversary celebration. It is at Wildwood Lake near the boat ramp area, northwest of Lincoln.

Sponsored by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, events will be held at venues across the state.
