Civilian Living History: 101 at Rock Creek Station State Historical Park

Join members of the Rock Creek Hayforks living history group for an introductory session to reenacting! An informative presentation and Q&A will take place at 10:30 AM and again at 2:00 PM October 15th, on the East Ranch.

•     Find out how to get connected with active volunteers and participate in living history events. 

•     Discuss resources for proper clothing, ephemera, historical accuracy and learning period skills. 

•     Hear stories on how to build a first person persona, what goes on “behind the scenes” and why this is a great way to spend a weekend! 

This is an invitation to individuals, families, groups – people of all ages and abilities! Please contact the park with any questions.

Vehicle park entry permit required.
