Indian Cave State Park and members of the Loess Hills Audubon Society welcome participants of all ages and experience levels to participate in the annual citizen science Christmas Bird Count being held at Indian Cave State Park on Thursday, December 28th.
Ponca State Park’s Christmas Bird Count is part of a nationwide Christmas Bird Count conducted by the National Audubon Society, where data collected is utilized by conservationists and researchers around the world.
Come join the fun; learn bird identification tips and see some uncommon species.
Please dress for the weather; and bring a water bottle, binoculars, and bird book if you have one.
A soup lunch will be provided.
A valid park permit required for entry.
